A 4-day immersive missions camp where students explore Chinese culture, encounter the reality of the underground church, and wrestle with what it truly means to follow Jesus where faith comes at a cost.
Why Missions Camp: China?
Some students grow up hearing about missions.
Few ever truly feel the weight of lostness.
In China, millions live their entire lives without ever hearing the name of Jesus.
Many believers gather in secret. Some risk harassment, surveillance, and persecution for their faith.
Missions Camp: China is designed to help students move beyond information and into understanding, burden, and calling.
This is not just a camp.
It is a missions encounter.

What students will experience:
Throughout the week, students will be immersed in a realistic, educational, and spiritually formative experience focused on China and the global mission of God.
They will experience:
- Chinese cultural learning and interactive activities
- Worship in both Mandarin and English
- Testimonies from Chinese believers and missionaries
- Teaching on lostness and the Gospel in China
- Simulated underground house church gatherings
- Guided prayer for the Chinese people
- Missions training in a Chinese ministry context
- Daily small group “House Church” discussions and debriefs
Every experience is intentionally designed to help students understand life, faith, and mission in a Chinese context.
Cultural Immersion
To deepen the experience, students will also enjoy:
- Chinese-style meals
- Cultural games and activities
- Mandarin worship elements
- Prayer stations focused on regions of China
This creates a hands-on learning environment rather than a lecture-style camp.
Cost & Registration
Early Bird Registration: $300 (available for a limited time)
Regular Registration: $350 per student
Registration Deadline: May 15, 2026
Your registration fee includes lodging, meals, all camp programming, cultural immersion activities, and materials for the immersive missions experience. Space is intentionally limited to 150 participants to preserve the depth, quality, and interactive nature of the simulations, house church groups, and teaching sessions, so early registration is strongly encouraged.

We understand that immersive experiences require wisdom and care.
That’s why Missions Camp: China includes:
- 15+ trained adult leaders and counselors
- Structured daily debrief sessions
- Supervised housing and programming
- Clear orientation and safety guidelines
- Emotionally responsible teaching and simulations
Students are guided, supported, and spiritually mentored throughout the entire camp.
A Unique Immersive Experience
One of the most impactful elements of the camp is the Underground Church Simulation.
Students will:
- Meet in small “house church” groups
- Learn how believers worship in restricted environments
- Experience realistic interruptions and pressure scenarios
- Reflect on the cost of following Christ in other parts of the world
All immersive elements are supervised by trained adult leaders and followed by structured spiritual debriefs to ensure emotional and spiritual care.

The goal is perspective, gratitude, and deeper faith.

Understanding worldview, daily life, and cultural dynamics in China.

Why so many still have little to no access to the Gospel.
3. Life of Christians in the Underground Church
What it means to follow Jesus where faith carries real risk.
4. Missions in the Chinese Context
How missionaries wisely and faithfully serve among Chinese people today.
Testimonies from Chinese Believers
Students will hear powerful, first-hand testimonies from Chinese believers who have followed Jesus in culturally and spiritually challenging environments. These stories will help students understand the real-life faith, courage, and perseverance of Christians connected to the Chinese context.
Stories of past missionaries to China
Through engaging teaching and storytelling, students will explore the history of missions in China and see how God has been faithfully pursuing the Chinese people for generations. From early missionaries to modern believers, they will discover a powerful narrative of perseverance, sacrifice, and God’s enduring love for China.
Insights from missionaries serving in Chinese contexts
Students will hear directly from missionaries who serve in Chinese contexts and learn how they faithfully share the Gospel with wisdom, cultural sensitivity, and perseverance. These real-life insights will help students understand the challenges, strategies, and calling involved in reaching the Chinese people with the message of Jesus.
Biblically grounded teaching on God’s heart for the nations
Through Scripture-centered teaching, we will reveal God’s heart for the nations and show how His mission has always been to reach every people group with the Gospel. Students will be guided through key passages that illuminate the Great Commission and challenge them to see their own role in God’s global plan.
What Happens After Camp?
Students who sense a call to missions will be invited into an ongoing monthly fellowship for mentoring, discipleship, and continued missions development through Anchored International.
The goal is not just a powerful week.
The goal is long-term obedience to God’s calling.
