Nestled just outside Loranger, Louisiana, Camp Living Waters is the new vibrant headquarters for Anchored International. This expansive property, rich with potential and purpose, is set to become a haven for immersive missionary training, retreats, and spiritual renewal.

A Vision for Impact

The place we now call home is shared with Camp Living Waters, a ministry with a rich history of impacting lives across Southeast Louisiana. For decades, this property has been a place where countless students, families, and churches have encountered God and grown in their faith. Under new leadership, the camp has a fresh vision to expand its reach and deepen its impact.

Anchored International is now part of that story. Together, we are breathing new life into this historic property—creating spaces where missionaries can be trained, mentored, and equipped for the challenges of taking the gospel to the nations. What was once a camp known for local ministry now carries a global footprint, as its influence stretches far beyond Louisiana to the ends of the earth.

Innovative Training Features

The site features a variety of unique facilities designed to simulate real-world mission field conditions, creating an immersive setting for hands-on learning and preparation:

• Jungle Village and Future African Village: Our jungle village is already in place, providing a rugged, realistic environment where trainees can learn to adapt to challenging living conditions. Plans are underway to build an African village, further expanding the cross-cultural training experience.
• Outdoor Teaching Areas: Open-air classrooms and gathering spaces provide the perfect setting for teaching, mentoring, and community-building under the Louisiana sky.
• Large Garden: A working garden demonstrates sustainable living practices and gives students the opportunity to learn food cultivation as a practical tool for ministry and survival.
• International Hostel Rooms: Purposefully designed living quarters expose students to a variety of housing styles from around the world, helping them grow accustomed to the realities of living cross-culturally.
